Subject: [ferrethealth] those arthritic ferret feet

Our two oldest ferrets have some
arthritis in their feet. I give them
some comfort with massage.
Well, Steve is recovering from a leg
injury that is mostly healed, and I
wrenched my lower back. Yesterday
we got out the Hitachi magic Touch
which is a long handled vibrator with
adjustable speeds. Not only does it
help us both but both the older ferrets
rapidly discovered that they like
having their feet on it, so we figure it
relieves some of their arthritis discomfort.
So, if you have older ferrets with
arthritis an approach like this may
help. This is old and may not be
made any longer, but there are
probably similar products out there.
