Lupron Depot is being used prophylactically during the breeding season (January to March) in young ferrets to hopefully prevent adrenal disease. It will not harm your ferret. If he is not adrenal then it won't make a difference in any of his symptoms. But you do need a dose that is formulated for ferrets.
