Lupron is very safe for use in ferrets and will do no harm if the ferret is=
not adrenal. In fact, it is theorized that giving lupron may even prevent =
adrenal disease from occurring to begin with. I currently have 12 ferrets, =
all are on lupron. My 5 youngest are being given it as a hopeful preventati=
ve. Two were started on it at around one year of age and have been on it, y=
ear round, for 2 years now. I have seen no adverse effects.
