Subject: [ferrethealth] suprelorin and adrenal question

Pita had her first Suprelorin implant on 1st April 2009, befor then she had been on Gincerin(lupron) monthly injections for about 3 years I went for Suprelorin because of the cost, less stress for Pita driving to the vets every month and because towards the last 6 months I noticed her vulva srarted swelling, very slightly, after about 3 weeks so for the last few months we were having the injection every 3 weeks
My question is, has anyone else had any experience ( Tony especially!)
and do I have to look at uping any dosage(can i up the dosage?) or is this normal
I also have a male ferret that I was going to put on this as he has started loosing a small amount of fur around his anus and tail, as he has not had any medication I think I will still go ahead with it, but it looks as though his anus is swollen slightly but im not sure if this looks bigger due to the lose of fur, anyone know?
