I have used lupron with all of my insulinomics and never had any issues. In fact, glucose levels tend to be better with lupron. I'm not quite sure why.

Diet alone will not control insulinoma. Prednisone needs to be given as well. If your ferret is not being medicated, this is why he is having seizures.
