Subject: [ferrethealth] Pred & weight gain
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
I have had a handful of kids with insulinoma oer the years,
but
Otter is the first for me that has completely gone of of kibble food.
I recently found a place that grinds whole animal, so he is very happily now eating whole, ground turkey meat.
Otter has however blown up considerably, another first for me;
he literally looks like he has swallowed a grapefruit.
His pred dose is .35 cc. @ 5mg/ml.
Has anyone any suggestions on how to keep his growing girth in check without compromising his access to food?
Joan
