Subject: [ferrethealth] Need some help, please!

I have 4 year old male ferret, Grimsley. He had one of his adrenal glands removed on Wednesday. His prostate is enlarged and he can not fully empty his bladder. He still isn't able to empty fully. Lupron/Melatonin will not work for him. Am I being too impatient? Do I have to give the prostate longer to shrink?
The vet said the other gland was fine.
Any suggestions?
