Hello Nicole,

Sometimes Propecia can help. If you enter Propecia into the search term you will get information on this medication and its usefulness for an enlarged prostate. Here is one post by Dr. Murray that gives dosages: http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/ferrethealth/message/8583

He may also be helped by continuing with the melatonin and perhaps an increased dosage of Lupron until things settle down. Talk to your vet about these options. At times a combination of things works better than any one treatment alone.

The good thing is that he is voiding even if he isn't completely emptying his bladder. Perhaps additional medications as mentioned or others in the same category may assist. Of course keep an eye on him if things start to get worse. As you know a complete blockage is an emergency situation and requires immediate veterinary care.
