Does anyone have any info about deslorelin for good surgical candidates with adrenal?
My 3yr old female is definitely adrenal, diagnosed from symptoms(hair loss, behaviour changes), and lupron has worked very well. What I've been able to dig up about deslorelin says that it is more for ferrets who are not "good surgical candidates". She is.
Can anyone tell me why the implant would be better than surgery for her- beyond the usual risks of surgery? I'm curious about it, and obviously want the best I can do for her. If we can avoid surgery long term, all the better.
