I think you can presume that the vets will comment if the advice you are receiving is incorrect - otherwise assume what Sukie is telling you is consistent with what they would advise.
Although Sukie is not a vet : ) - she is extremely knowledgeable with a broad knowledge base on ferret illnesses and health issues.
