Hi everyone,
just wanted some feedback on a sick rescueferret. It's a male neutered ferret of 5 years old. till now we don't know ecactly what's wrong and treatment is difficult. it started with an attack of low bloodsugar level. he was taken to an incompetent vet who didn't do any research and said it was insulinoma. in a month the ferret lost almost half of his weight and when I came to pick it up I had to bring it directly to the clinic. his bloodlevel was very low and he was anemic. we did ultrasounds and it seems he's got some spots in his pancreas but not many. he's got ugly kidneys. in the clinic he started eating well again and he gained some weight but he keeps being anemic. I don't like the look of it, had another ferret that kept being anemic and in the end died without knowing what was wrong. any suggestions. I know I'm not very detailed but unluckily I don't have much time. thank you for any replies.
Anja
