Hi,

Aggression was the first sign I had in my gib who was subsequently diagnosed with adrenal disease. This was very uncharacteristic of this particular ferret and when he started losing fur on his tail I knew it was likely adrenal disease, which it proved to be.

Pain will also cause aggression in a ferret, however, I suspect its more likely the beginning of adrenal disease that you are seeing. Time for a visit to the vet.

Tressie
