Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Ferret Behaviour
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

In 28 years with ferrets we've only once had a healthy
ferret attack an unhealthy one and then the attacked
individual was one with multiple deformities. Usually
we have instead seen nurturing behaviors toward ill
ferrets by other ferrets.

What we have seen is that sometimes a ferret with
adrenal disease may be the recipient of pseudo-sexual
advances.

The opposite also happens.

So adrenal disease may be present in either ferret when
that sort of activity occurs.
