I have a similar situation I was going to ask about.=A0 My Freddie who just=
turned 1 year old and is very very sweet and has always gotten along great=
with everyone has just about 2 wks ago started attacking my old sick ferre=
t Sissy.=A0 As soon as he sees Sissy he goes straight for him and completel=
y covers him with his body and bites his neck and ears and rolls him over a=
nd tries to drag him and he makes Sissy scream.=A0 Since Freddie is only ju=
st one year old could that still be a sign of adrenal starting and since he=
only picks on Sissy does that mean anything?=A0 Sissy does not have an agg=
ressive bone in his old body. The other thing is that since about 2 weeks a=
go Sissy has been acting like something may be wrong with the side of his h=
ead or maybe an ear infection since he would kind of hold his head to one s=
ide and he was scratching at his ear.=A0 I gave him amoxi for 2 weeks and h=
e seems back to normal but Fred is still trying to pick on him when he
sees him. I dont know if this would be the same situation as the other per=
son who wrote in or what?=A0 Any advice is always appreciated.=A0 Thanks in=
advance,=A0=A0

[Moderator's Note:

BOTH ferrets need to go to the vet now. Adrenal disease
in EITHER ONE could cause that behavior and the older one
needs a further check-up including for ear infection. For
causes of those symptoms Amoxi usually is not an appropriate
med and no med should be used without prior vet okay. Over
2 weeks after mixing with water Amoxi can become unsafe to use.]
