Some forms of poisoning can be chronic
and then some point there simply is too
much or the ferrets are exposed to an
illness they normally would be able to
deal with and a crash happens.

In one of the latest reports the pathologist
or the attending vet is still saying that a
toxin is more likely. A person has to be
careful to not dismiss a possibility without
sufficient cause.

As to various metal poisoning possibilities:
*what are the cages or pens made of
*what were they soldered with
*what types of paints were used
*what types of wood treatment were used
*what type of wood was used since some
types of wood are pretreated and some
