Hello, Your poop issue, since it is easing up, may also be an introduction issue. I have seen it when I introduced a very small girl to my business. The little girl was afraid, since she was on only ferret before, and would poop when others went near her or wrestled. She would also vocalize a lot, since she was afraid. Now she knows everyone is nice, and she doesn't do it anymore. She uses the potty box like a good girl. If she was a lone ferret for a while, this could be the case. As for the sore bum, yes, wet cedar can cause all types of problems, including respiratory issues. I'm glad she is in a home with someone who knows ferrets a bit better.Let us know what happens at her appointment. Try not to be offended by the board, they really are a good group who know their stuff. They are only trying to help.
