Luckily, her bladder is healthy.

Two bacterial over-populations are showing up in the vulva, though,
one is E. coli but it isn't known by our vets yet what the other one
is. Cultures and then challenges to find out what antibiotics have a
chance of working are being done.

At this point, having eliminated so much else we are leaning toward
her having a stump pyometra which has formed an abscess and which
simply behaved differently enough from the standard that it could not
be found before. There's another ultrasound still to come -- with the
last ultrasound having made a real difference for diagnosis. She will
probably have both targeted antibiotics and another surgery in her
future, but if this approach is correct then she should finally be
past this long term problem.

Hey, she is just one of those rare and puzzling, "When does something
look like a problem with the second adrenal disease bout but is not?"
situations.
