Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Lupron Depot - Possible adverse side effects?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Jeff, we have always given a 2mg depot--and we have given nearly 200 of these, at this point. (We divide a 30mg, 4 month depot into 15 equal doses.)

In most cases, we have excellent results. In some, we have not seen fur re-growth--and in our experience, there has always been more going on with these than just adrenal disease.

This is just what we have seen here--perhaps the experts might disagree.

How does Trinny seem to feel? Even in the ones who don`t re-grow their fur, we do see relief from the insane itching, swollen vulvas returning to normal,or almost normal,no one is going anemic, and we`re seeing and better energy in general. In our boys, not one on lupron has ever had a urinary blockage. Our lupron babies are outliving the ones who had surgery. If she feels good, maybe opt for comfort, this time around.

If she`s miserable, maybe it would be worth the "risk" of another mg.

At this point, it`s doubtful(our opinion) that adrenal disease is her only problem, so we would opt for whatever would bring comfort to her...

Love, Zoo
