Subject: [ferrethealth] Need a vet in the Chicagoland area

I live about an hour west of Chicago in a little town. My ferret is losing hair. I have taken him to two local vets, neither of which had any clue about ferrets. Does anyone know of any good vets anywhere around the Chicagoland area? I am willing to travel anywhere between where I live right off of 80 in Illinois and Indiana. I just want to find a vet who knows about ferrets. Especially a vet who knows about ferret surgery in case my ferret has an adrenal tumor. I am tired of just finding a vet in the phonebook who doesn't know anything about ferrets. Thank you for any answers.
