Could be IBD. Could try adding pred to the mix. Also try something like canned pumpkin or green peas since the diets are so low in fiber sometimes it causes issues with the gut. Also be sure he is getting a fatty acid supplement. Good luck hope it helps.

Oh I usu use amoxi that is spiked with a bit of pred or dex and it really helps.
