The panic response is a possibility, but the two prior times that she had the Lupron shot, she was fine. Both times she was given some ferretone to distract her during the injection, and she never even flinched when it was administered. BUT this time I was not in the room to distract her with the ferretone when it was done, so she might very well have panicked.
