Lucie I could be wrong but to me it sounds like she's having seizers, i lost acouple of ferrets that had seizers. does she also have alittle movement while this is happing, like legs or feet twitching and any kind of gasping sounds?

Certainly, among other things on a vet appointment about this
would be a blood glucose test. Especially if the pancreatic growth
is insulinoma (which fortunately is not usually malignant) then
medication adjusts in amounts, types, and timing may help
a lot. So can having food very easy to access at every cage level
can make all the difference to a ferret who may sleep long enough
for the blood glucose to drop.]
