I checked and my roommate unfortunately got pumpkin pie mix (organic - bless him!!. Drat. I did mention it should be just pumpkin but he must have forgotten.

[Look at the ingredients. Depending on make some pumpkin pie
fillings only are pumpkin so will be fine. -- Moderator]

Chicken baby food/Gerbers

<< I make a duck soup out of A/D, pumpkin and water. Sometimes I use a combination of A/D and chicken baby food, depending on what the problem is. All my ferrets get the A/D or Innova EVO 95% Duck, pumpkin soup mix twice a day, every day. Kibble is always available.>>

I have AD and will try it in the mix. He is still eating kibble, but to get the pumpkin into him I'd prefer something more balanced than the chicken which I suspect - for no good reason- may make the diarrhea worse. My alternate ferret vet - who has ferrets - says she has found that poor eaters who do not like AD absolutely love the Evo cat and kitten food in the purple can which is touted as an alternative to those who like "raw" diets. My picky eaters did love it. It has strange (to me) additions of fruit, veggies, cheese and other stuff, but a couple of ferrets have loved it when they would not eat the A/D. I'll try the A/D first

Thanks for the details, I'll give it a try
