Subject: [ferrethealth] Deslorelin Implant side effects?

Two of my ferrets (1 gib and 1 sprite) recieved a Deslorelin implant three weeks ago and both are showing signs of improvement. However the sprite is now losing all her fur in clumps but has new fur/stubble growing underneath. She looks awful and is very slight in build. She is still active and seems to be eating. Just wondered if anyone else has had this experience before and if I should worry about her or is this "normal".
[All of the drugs in that class of meds can cause an initial
increase in some symptoms followed by resolution of the
symptoms for the same reason that the 24 hour versions
should be avoided:
