I've had a few people try to convince me that lupron/melatonin alone has a
far better success rate long term than surgery(no idea which gland is
affected as of yet).
Any ideas, suggestions from either the vets on this list, or others with
experience?
**Personally, I disagree with this, as I have seen quite a few ferrets
treated medically that ended up with huge, very aggressive tumors that sadly,
were inoperable by the time the owners sought a surgical treatment. My
preference, in a ferret that is physically a candidate for surgery, remains to do
surgical treatment.**
