Thank you all for the responses. You've been a great help.

Since he is still with the original owner, i dont see everything that is going on with him.. only what she updates me on. But i trust her judgement.
I've got word that he is doing a little better, and its been about 3 days. hopefully he will continue on the right track to getting healthy. Even if he seems better when he comes home with me.. i am still going to request blood work, xray and another urinalysis just to be safe.

Tressie- he was dehydrated when she took them back from the first adopter, they had gone without water for at least 4 days. On his first ER visit, the vet gave him fluids. As far as i know, he is eatting and drinking fine now.
