With all of the antibiotics he's been on recently, there's a good chance that in addition to reducing the excess heliobactor, they also killed off much of the 'good bacteria' in his digestive tract that he needs for proper digestion. Supplementation with acidophilus or something like Forti Flora (see link below) could help remedy this problem quickly by replenishing that good bacteria.

Food allergies are another possible problem, but you don't say what kind of food(s) he eats.

The ulcers usually take several weeks to heal, so they may also still be an underlying problem. He should probably be on Carafate before meals. It is given approx. 30 minutes before meals and it acts as a patch over the ulcers to help them heal and to help them avoid further abrasion from food. Sucralfate is the same as Carafate.
