Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret ate bandaid

So, my newest ferret, Jezzie, a 6 month old female ate 2/3 of a small band-aid tonight - about 30 min ago. I called the vet immediately. He told me to give her ferretone to help pass the band-aid and to wait and see what tomorrow brings. He thought we should know by afternoon if we are going to have a problem with a blockage. Is there anything more to do? I've read several posts in the archives about giving pumpkin. Straight pumpkin from the can? Please help if you can.
