Okay, he came home tuesday late evening and I have been extremely busy taking care of him and the family. The first few days he slept. I had to wake him up to feed him and to take his meds. Yesterday, he started to run around the house for a little bit. He's been up and playing for about 30 minutes at a time. I've been giving him plenty of time to rest and I have him separated from Bandit right now. I would have kept them together but Bandit wanted to lick his incision.

The Vet called yesterday and I have good news. She said that the test results came back and he has inflammation in his whole body and that is consistant with IBD. She said that his lymph node was inflamed because of the inflammation. So he has no cancer. She is treating him for the IBD and for possible Helicobacter infection. He is currently on Amoxicillian, Flagl, Pepto, Reglan and Prednisone.

He still doesn't want to drink, but I did catch him taking a small drink late last night and he's eating duck soup. So after a VERY expensive surgery to find out what was wrong, I hope things are looking up. T

Thanks for everyone for your concern and your prayers. Please continue to pray that he will regain his strength and start eating and drinking on his own.

Deanna,
Bandit and Whitey
