Subject: [ferrethealth] Can you give Pepto and Pepcid at the same time-concurrently?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Rascal has been on Pepto for about 6 days. I wanted to add Pepcid too to see if that helps coat his stomach better. But I can't find any web articles regarding giving both.

We don't have money for a vet visit so we will just have to try and manage his pain and keep him as comfortable as possible. I know this sounds irresponsible but I don't have a job and can't find one and DH's job isn't paying our living expenses. So life just sucks all around right now.

I've started crying again so I'll await your opinions. Thanks for the support. Our friends and family who don't think ferrets are the best babies you can have don't understand what we're going through.

[When a situation is truly desperate for the safety of
the ferret it can be best to see if the ferret shelters
near you are solvent enough to accept a surrender.

At this point it is unclear if that help is needed, but
if it becomes needed or is needed go to these
resources:
http://www.supportourshelters.org/
and

NEVER give meds without the vet saying that you can
give them. Do at least call your vet. -- Moderator]
