You don't mention what food, but if he was eating well and now not eating i=
t is very unusual, I would suggest you bring him to the vet.

in a young ferret my main concerns would be a partial obstruction, somethin=
g he ate ( rubber, plastic, etc) that is upsetting his stomach.

If diarrhea was before this, then ECE or another illness could have also pu=
t him off his food as his stomach may be sore.
