No he hasn't been checked for heart problems and as far as the Insulinoma, I think they checked for it, but I will find out. He is on Prednisone and the only thing I know about the liver is that it was inflammed they think due to the IBD. It is so hard to try and figure out what is going on. I also haven't bee giving the pepto at the same time since I read about it, but should I wait 1 hour after his amox and flagl?

[The liver has to change Prednisone into Prednisolone
before the body can use the med, so if the liver is
inflamed the Prednisone could be pretty well useless
BUT if Prednisolone is given instead then that processing
step will be skipped and the body can get the benefit
of the med. This is a rather common consideration with
ferrets. -- Moderator]
