Ferris (whose foot lesion turned out to be a mast cell tumor which was strangely large and needed surgery)is being treated post op with clavamox 0.25mls (50mg/ml)twice daily,Ferris weighs 2.4 pounds which is 1088g

In one exotic animal formulary I have there are two doses referenced for Clavamox when used in ferrets. One is 12.5mg/Kg every 12 hours, and another 13-25 mg/Kg every 8-12 hours. Veterinarians probably prescribe a dose based on the condition of the animal and its illness.
