Well, it was pretty displaced but they found what might be
a left ovary or remnant of one forgotten in Whizbang years
ago by the breeding farm's people.
The remnant of her uterus with cervix is not very large and
was not infected so to reduce stressing her that is not coming
out.
A weird red thing that might be stray splenic tissue came out
for biopsy, too.
There is a cyst on one kidney, but kidney cysts are typically not
a big deal in ferrets and are pretty common; we already knew
that.
Three years after her insulinoma was removed early she had
another very tiny insulinoma -- one of those ones that are so
small that they are only found by feeling so that got worked on.
She was symptom-free and not under treatment for insulinoma.
Hopefully, we now have the answer. An ovary or ovarian fragment
would explain all.
Just in case we don't I am still curious about meds that have a direct
anti-estrogenic effect.
