Pam, thanks for sharing your experience - hearing personal positive stories is what I'm looking for. My exotics vet forwarded studies by Nico Shoemaker who did the original research on deslorelin and ferrets and it makes for very interesting reading. I'm now thinking more along the line of using deslorelin for neutering for the first 2 years and then possibly surgicially neutering after that. I did hear that the implant should last 2 years ok.
