Thank you again for taking time to reply.

I contacted the vet lab and they confirmed that they do not have access to a test for corona virus. They can however, carry out a histological exam of the dead ferret's intestines to look for signs of viral enteritis. Is this worth pursuing?

I also mentioned about the 400x magnification but have not heard back what method they used to look for the parasites.
