I am not a vet but just said goodbye to my beloved Doogie who fought against
the terrible insulinoma for over a year. Towards the end we tried
everything including Diazoxide. I would say if the combination of
Prednisolone and Diazoxide is working, you should stick with it. I would
also recommend a high protein chicken gravy soup every few hours if possible
to help stabilize blood sugar levels rather than the glucose, if possible.
Unfortunately towards the end of the horrible progressive disease, nothing
seems to work very well anymore. Best of luck to you.
