Subject: [ferrethealth] when islet cell tumors can be estrogenic
To: fhl <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>
I learned an interesting thing to day from Dr. Matti Kiupel who is a
ferret specialist pathologist and is with the MSU Ferret Health
Advancement Group which it pays to learn about and be grateful exists:

Insulinomas can be multi-hormonal and on rare basis they can actually
produce estrogen.
That seemed like the sort of thing which could be very useful to have
in the archives for when a rare case like that crops up.
