Subject: [ferrethealth] Ant Bite on Top of Nose
To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

Hi All -

Has anyone else had this happen? If so and you treated it, what did you do/use? The ant that bit her is either the small, black kind or the large, red kind. I'd say it was the red kind based on the size of the bite mark. It wasn't a fire ant. It got her just above the area where her hairline (fur) starts. It doesn't seem to bother her, but her nose is a darker/brighter pink than normal and appears to be slightly swollen, but not enough to interfere with breathing.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Silverfert
