Well sukie,once again I respectively,totally disagree with u!!! U do
not have all the answers,and neither do I.,having said that,the
studies,regarding this r not well studyed,and a famouse vet.,,ferret
vet,that u know,don't know if we can or can't mention names,so I
won't,however he is in weare nh,and he is simply the best there is,he
agreed totally with me on this u don't know it all.. Haveing said that,neither do
I.fyi,chfs stands 4 certified healing food specialist,also working
on a nutrition degree,that's taking me longer because of cronic
autoimmune issues I've faced.... whatever., How in the world can u tell
me probiotics,and good gut bacteria,though millions of different
species,have nothing to do with immunity??? These enzymes do
everything,from digesting food,to fighting infections,to everything!!!!!
Lets just agree to disagree,and let people make their own
conclusions.,shall we? Because in all fairness,u will not sell me on
this one..... All the best.,Deb

Another thing,add on to previouse post.,my Scooter,who passed 1yr ago this aug.23rd,had dilated cardiomyopathy,with a huge spleen.,I took him to this well known vet,who if u search the archives,u will see he was quite active on helping people on this grp.,I took Scooter 4 monthly heart exrays,blood work.,,ultasounds where of coarse also done.,and through my research 4 alternatives for scooter,my own life was saved.,Scooter saved my life.,long story.,but anyway,I did the probiotics.,,because previouse vets had him on every antibiotic u could possibly name,and I trusted them,not to brite on my half.,I started Scooter on heavy probiotics., anti inflamatory herbs,things like tumeric,for example,I later added more and more.,I took him 4 his monthly heart exrays,ect.,and was told by dr****** that Scooter was passing the odds here,and that he had expected a constant enlargement in his heart,and deteriation.,guess what? This didn't happen! He was actually improveing,against all odds,
and this dr.,was amazed.. I took Scooter monthly,and contacted this dr.,via email,almost daily,and Scooter,my sweetheart,the ferret of my life,my life saving ferret,went on to live an extra couple yrs... I would imagine his heart was enlarged long before his diagnoses,and untill I went to this vet,it was advanced.... His words to me,where Deb,whatever u r doing,keep it up,there is no medical explanation 4 this,as I expected to see a more rapid advancement... Deb --aliano

Yet another add on.,yes the appendix,is one major organ to house these bacteria,this was found later.,however this is not the only housing 4 bacteria species.,I myself had my appendix removed yrs back,along with parts of my stomach,and was told back then the appendex serves no importance.,which I knew wasn't the case.,as I don't believe the good lord would have given us useless body parts!!! Yrs later,I without my appendix,started heavy probiotics,and turned things around,minus an appendix.,this was proven through testing by my dr as well as labs,I paid 4 out of pocket,diag.,tech,among others.,so without this so called storage house.,appendix.,I now have a sufficient amount of bacteria,again with no appendix.,so obviously,they r stored else where as well.,and yes the appendix is the power house of storage......
