Has anyone tried
_Veterinary Herbal Medicine_
by Susan G. Wynn, Barbara Foug=E8re,
2006?
If so, is it relevant for ferrets?
I have Wynn and Marsden's
_Manual of Natural Veterinary Medicine_
but for the most part have not found it
to be as useful as I had hoped. Is the
new text more comprehensive? Just as
with more standardly used meds I like
to know about medical and herbal
conflicts (since not all should be given
together), pre-existing conditions that
should indicate caution or not using a
med (of any type), side-effects, what the
side-effects may simulate (for instance,
if a med is estrogenic then I know it might
make a ferret look like adrenal disease
may be present even if it is not), etc. To
use the Wynn and Marsden book I have to
do a lot of cross-referencing to get a
complete picture.
Comprehensive texts on this topic by veterinarians
which can be useful for ferrets?=20
