I accidently found a review of the Wynn and
Fougere book while seeing what veterinary
herbal texts might exist (with no more
luck on that score).

Anyway, here is the review:

http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/bookdescription.cws_home/707656/description#description

and it sounds like some of the deficiencies of the
earlier text were corrected so I might spoil
myself and order the book when I can do the $85
sale price, BUT if I can get a chance to see the book
beforehand to see if it is for mostly or entirely for
ungulates OR if it is applicable for members of
Carnivora I will do that first. Our primary vet also has
studied herbals some as well as acupuncture so I'll
see if he has a copy when I get a chance unless
someone here is familiar with that text and can say.

explores herbal medicine in context, offering information
on toxicology, drug interactions, quality control, and other
key topics.

Hopefully, rather than mostly being for cattle, horses, etc.
it proves useful for members of Carnivora.

There is also this book:

was available)course for veterinarians:

The FHL used to have two members who had strong interests in
herbal medicines but both took a hiatus from having ferrets as
pets, if I recall right. At least one of them put some herbal links
in the FHL links section, as did I:
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/ferrethealth/links

There has not been time to check links to find out which are
currently active so some of any types may be defunct.

I don't know in which countries the mentioned texts are available.
