Yes, They both had the shots. Before I moved in we cleaned the place top to bottom and let it air out for a week before we moved in. I normally will let the run around freely while im watching them but they had stayed in the cage since we moved in because of items still being unpacked. I did set the playpen with the bottom ground cover up in the living room for them to run around in and play. They never seemed to have a problem with the litter before and it is marshal litter. Tango (with the belly rash) Seems to be doing some what better but still sad which is to be suspected with losing his cagemate I am told. The vet I took Cash to Started a IV then came out and told me there was nothing that could be done. he was pretty much gone when I woke up. His breathe was so shallow and he couldnt move at all. I have had ferrets on and off for years and have always been very careful with what I use to clean the cage with and the house as well. My house is always ferret/bab
y proof to avoid accidents. Since I posted the original post I have learned that last night after I went to sleep a truck drove by spraying for mosquitos. I also live near a creek now (runs behind my house) Could the spray from the truck been enough to take my baby from me and make the other sick? The one who lived is a much bigger ferret and Cash was always small for his age. Please let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.
