Were any of those studies specifically for heartworm control IN FERRETS?
In the study that I know of that Dr. Murray mentioned (See the separate
FHL Archives.) the kitten level was insufficient for heartworm prevention
in ferrets, so that is why I am curious.
Could you give more info on the studies? Titles? Animal types? Abstracts?
Journals, location in jpurnals, dates? Many thanks.
So far, it sounds like no one has run into actual problems from that level
of dose, but the caution being taken is in case it might.
