Subject: [ferrethealth] Hair Loss
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

One of my little chappies has got severe hair loss. Started with total loss of hair on his tail and now has hair loss along centre of his back and on rear legs, and on his belly. I suspect Adrenal Disease although my vet is ignoring me and has given me some shampoo to ease my lads itching (which doesn't appear to be working_. However my online research is strongly pointing me towards Adrenal Disease - please could you give me your opinions.

If it is Adrenal is there anything I can do to help him? Bless him he is trying so hard to be cheerful and yet he looks in such a sorry state. He lives with 3 other boys and they do not show any signs of skin infections which I would have expected to see if it was mites/ fleas.
Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sharon
