Here is a past post with some links to help you learn more about causes and treatments for adrenal disease. The one thing you don't want to do is ignore the problem because it will only get worse and cause the ferret more pain and discomfort. There are both medical and surgical options, but if your vet is 'ignoring' you then you might want to consider consulting a new vet. You can search for some in your area thru this link:
