Lymphoma can definitely cause it. The 2 cases I have personally were both abdominal lymphomas. One was an intestinal lymphoma, and the other was more genralized to the abdominal cavity. In both cases there was some kidney impariment, but it was slight, and there was no real involvement of the liver.
