Your post doesn't specify if you've tried any of the following, but you should consider them if you haven't.

10-14 days of antibiotics - we've used amoxicillin for most things in the past, but ask your vet.

Forti-Flora (feline). I can provide a link to where I buy it online. I've found it extremely helpful in helping to clear up diarrhea and other nasty stuff that sometimes comes out of their hind end. It has been especially helpful for our older girl Trinny, who, among other things, has had IBD for 1-1/2 years. Mix a little Forti Flora in with soup after heating and it replenishes a lot of the necessary stuff that their digestive tract may be lacking.

Mix plain canned pumpkin with their soup. I include it about every other week, once daily, and it helps to firm up poops and prevent blockages. Must be plain pumpkin, with no other ingredients at all.

IF IBD is at least part of the problem, then a low-dosage of Prednisolone daily can help keep the inflammation of the intestinal walls down. We've been using this for Trinny for a long time now.
