I used to get my pred at a local compounding pharmacy, but after moving had to look around. The CVS forumla (from what they told me) is a premade commercial syrup with sorbitol. I called a lot of pharmacies that compound it sugarfree and mail. Following is the information of the three pharmacies my vet's office suggested. Check with the pharmacy, but the expiration date should be well over a month!!

Prescription Specialist 800-861-0933 (60 ml of 1mg per ml quoted as $34.50 plus 8.50 UPS Ground shipping)
Creating Compounding 800-672-2177 (60 mol of 1mg per ml quoted as $40 plus 8.50 UPS Ground Shipping)
Vet Pharm of America 877-838-7979 (wouldn't give price without the prescription called in, but you don't have to then fill it)
I've also used Animal Pharmacy 781-544-3010 (good price but didn't do the sucralfate which I also needed so I didn't use them).
