To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

We had to start heart meds immediately with Seven of Six, but she
began as a Level 3, so that is different. Hers was also a case of
heart stopping right from scratch, followed by bradycardia. Seven had
Aminophylline while others have used Theophylline. I am trying to
find the notes to see if she also had other meds besides Prednisolone
and Diazoxide for the insulinoma. I see that after several months she
also began ventricular bigemini. I am trying to see if she had
Digoxin then since that can be useful for ventricular bigemini but my
notes are fragmentary though it does NOT look like she had that med,
too. Okay, she had Enacard also early on along with the Aminophylline
according to one of my messages in the archives:
http://ferrethealth.org/archive/SG1535
After a while we also had to treat for ascites:
http://ferrethealth.org/archive/SG1881
and she later needed some banana for potassium due to the meds for
ascites:

I notice later that she stayed pink even with a heart rate in the 50s,
but I lack time to continue looking through past posts.

Anyway, adding Aminophylline and Enacard may be good for the little
who has just developed the Level 2 Block if the consulting
cardiologist thinks so.
